CAREER
DEVELOPMENT AND GENDER BASED VIOLENCE AND DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE
GIRL-CHILD 2009
To successfully make the transition from school
to adult life and the world of work, adolescent and young adults
need guidance and encouragement from cares supportive adult who have
distinguish themselves and are successful in various career it is
against this back drop that Ajegunle Community Project in Youth
Department organized a One Day Workshop with the theme Career
Development and Gender Based Violence at Metropolitan College Isolo.
The workshop attracted about 250 students and
teachers from schools under Education District VI. The student had
interaction with professionals in the Field of Medicine, Accountant,
A Legal Practitioner, and Information Technologist and also Teacher.
They were taught how to choose their career and follow their dream
in life.
