LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR WOMEN ORGANIZED by AJEGUNLE COMMUNITY PROJECT 12TH NOVEMBER 2009

As part of effort to archive the millennium development goal and other international instruments that seek to empower and to protect the right of women, AJEGUNLE COMMUNITY PROJECT (ACP) deem necessary to conduct a leadership training. The leadership workshop is a fall out from the seminar and Media Campaign Challenging Patriarchy with the members of the Community Development Association (CDA) and the inauguration of the women group in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area.

The strategic Media Campaign Programme Challenging Patriarchy is aimed primarily at the rural populaces who are most vulnerable and also reinforce it with advocacy, mobilization and engagement of such communities to empower them and keep them at alert to detect and report these incidents of gender abuse.

RALLY ON GENDER BASED VIOLENCE LAW

As part of its  Advocacy and sensitization activity AJEGUNLE COMMUNITY PROJECT (ACP) embarked on a mobile van rally to create awareness on the recently enacted law on Gender Based Violence by Lagos state government. PME WORKSHOP AT ACP SECRETARIAT, JUNE 2010

ACP partners Cordaid Netherlands were in Nigeria to conduct a One week training on (PME) Projects, Monitoring and Evaluation with key staff of ACP, also a social audit was conducted on ACP activities in three schools Tolu Complex, and a One on One focus discussion with ACP Grassroots Women at Amukoko
