Welcome

Ajegunle Community Project was borne out of the desire to give poor women the opportunity to stand for their rights and demand better access to the society without being discriminated or abused. The passion for empowering the grassroots women had seen the organisation running awareness and education programmes covering a host of thematic areas such as violence against women, democracy and governance.

Established in 1996 as a non-profit making and non-partisan organisation committed to the course of grass root women, ACP has worked closely with more Urban slum communities than most NGOs seeking social improvement among the poor within Lagos State.
